We had the wonderful privilege of having our client "Cathy" come and watch the first episode of this show. The whole team was there to watch it together today after church. We were encouraged and affirmed by the ministry that Annie has. We had an amazing night of fellowship and ministered to our client and friend! God is Good! His heart for these women swells with plans for a hope and a future!
We at Magdalene Hope are a group of believers, called to minister the unconditional Love of Christ in an untraditional and unconventional way to those who are stuck/trapped in the commercial sex industry, namely prostitution and human trafficking. Dec 3rd - Street Ministry
Friday Dec 3rd- Street Ministry Tonight meet @ 7pm Dagny's Coffee Company 1600 20th St.
Sherri was the first girl we talked to and she said "Is this a God thing?" and she broke down crying and said "I need help, I'm out there, I'm strung out and I'm doing bad" Beth hugged her and we told her that we could put her into a program and help her and we prayed for her. We got her information to follow up with her and are in the process of making contact with her... as we continued with the night we encountered stories like this with other ladies. We then left Union Ave. and proceeded to visit a client of ours who works at the truck stop near the freeway. Our client "Maggie" was in very bad shape she had a lot of pain in her body and we layed hands on her and her pain went away she was praising God and witnessing to the other prostitutes and drug dealers telling them about God! It was truly a miracle!

Nov 19th Street Ministry
Please continue to pray for all the ladies we meet. The last time out we encountered Christina again, she told us " she cherishes each gift we give her" she shared that she is 26 and has 2 children, we were able to pray with her, while Amy held her hands in prayer there was a warming of Christina's hands. We also gave gift bags to Tiffany, Bianca, and Vanessa. At the same stop we spoke to 3 men and were able to bless them. We also met Nadia who is from AZ.
We made a visit to Cathy and blessed her with a coat for her birthday, we brought along a cake and sang with her and prayed for her. As it was God's will to be a good contact night we visited Maggie and blessed her with a sweet treat and reviewed upcoming appointments, prayed with her and then drove away to finish our evening out with prayer.

Interview on The Core Live
Sat Nov 13th, 2010 Doug and Amy went live to speak with the Crew @ www.thecorelive.com If you missed the interview you really missed it Doug and Amy did an amazing job describing our ministry and how we ARE called to love others where they are no matter what. Amy described the process of getting to know the people we meet as a courtship perfectly. We meet, greet, and get to know them and show them Love and Hope, what a great courtship!!!!

Friday 11-5-2010 The Car is Clean(I hope,Doug)and the bags are packed and the street team is eating and preparing to go out tonight. We were very blessed with items sent from a supporter out of state there are scarves, gloves, body spray and some cool other goodies for the ladies and I have on good authority from God a gentlemen will be put in front of us soon. Please begin to pray tonight for the safety of the team, person to have contact with and that God words and love are received. we ask you continue to lift Magdalene Hope up for our financial needs.
